How It Works
- Step 1: Open any tenant — Navigate to any tenant in your Tenants section and click the DirectLine tab.
- Step 2: Send your message — Type and send. The message appears in their MyUnit portal immediately.
- Step 3: Tenant replies — Their reply comes back into your dashboard. You're notified in real time.
- Step 4: Full thread saved — The entire conversation is archived and searchable for future reference.

- Both sides can initiate. Tenants can start a new message from their MyUnit portal at any time.
- Are messages delivered if the tenant is offline?
- Yes. The message waits in their inbox and they'll see it next time they log in to MyUnit.
- Can I message multiple tenants at once?
- Yes. The broadcast feature lets you send one message to all tenants in a property simultaneously.
- Is there a message size limit?
- Individual messages support up to 5,000 characters. You can send multiple messages for longer communications.
