What ApplyGate Does

ApplyGate is RentAdminly's built-in tenant screening tool, powered by TransUnion. You send the applicant a link, they pay the screening fee directly, and you get a full report you can review side-by-side with other applicants — usually within minutes.

How to Run a Screening

Step 1: Open Screening

From the sidebar, click Screening. You'll see all your active and completed screenings.

Step 2: Invite an Applicant

Click + New Screening and enter:

Applicant's email address

Property they're applying to

Application fee (you can pass it through to the applicant)

The applicant gets an email with a secure link to complete their application.

Step 3: Applicant Completes the Application

The applicant fills out a short form (employment, rental history, references) and pays the screening fee. They authorize the credit pull.

Step 4: Review the Report

Once TransUnion returns results (usually 5–15 minutes), you'll get a notification. Open the screening to see:

Credit score with explanation

Open accounts and payment history

Any collections, bankruptcies, or judgments

Criminal records and eviction history

A side-by-side compa
