Team Management Overview

Rentadminly supports multiple team members with role-based access control, designed for property management companies and landlords who work with assistants or contractors.

Available Roles

| Role | Access Level |

|------|-------------|

| Admin | Full access — all features, settings, team management |

| Manager | All features except team and billing settings |

| Accountant | Payments, expenses, reports only |

| Maintenance | Maintenance requests only |

| Viewer | Read-only access to all sections |

Adding a Team Member

1. Go to Settings → Team Management

2. Click + Invite Member

3. Enter their name, email, and select a role

4. They'll receive an invitation to join your account

The Platform Admin

The platform admin (rent@rentadminly.com) has access to all accounts for support purposes only. This role cannot be removed or changed by property owners.

Best Practices

  • **Don't share your login**: Always create separate accounts for team members
  • **Use Viewer for contractors**: They can see requests without accessing financials
  • **Use Accountant for your bookkeeper**: They get the data they need without seeing tenant communications
  • Removing Access

    Go to Settings → Team Management and click the remove button next to the team member's name. Access is revoked immediately.
