Adding a Property in 3 Steps
Getting your first property into Rentadminly takes under 5 minutes.
Step 1: Open the Add Property Wizard
Navigate to Properties in the left sidebar, then click + Add Property in the top right corner. This opens the 3-step wizard.
Step 2: Fill in Property Details
Step 1 — Property Details:
Property name (e.g., "Sunset Apartments" or "123 Oak St")Property type: Single Family, Multi-Family, Commercial, etc.Number of unitsStep 2 — Location:
Street address, city, state, ZIP codeStep 3 — Review & Save
Confirm everything looks right and click Save Property.
What Happens Next
Your property now appears on the Properties page. From here you can:
Add tenants and assign them to unitsCreate leases for each unitStart tracking rent paymentsTips
**Use descriptive names**: "Oak Ridge Duplex Unit A" is better than "Unit 1"**Get the address right**: It appears on lease documents and payment receipts**Unit count matters**: Even for single-family homes, enter 1 unit so occupancy tracking works correctly
